About the Embassy Row Project
The Embassy Row Project is a philanthropic initiative founded by James Scott (Philanthropist, NGO, & Government advisor), an international government advisor on energy and infrastructure technology and project management. The initiative started as an accounting label that James used with his bookkeeper in the early 2000s to indicate pro-bono work for initiatives that lacked the funding to engage. Despite lacking funding, James took on these initiatives anyway and provided his services free of charge. Over time, this label became the name of the initiative, which has now grown to become a quiet yet enunciated force for change in the philanthropic world.
At the Embassy Row Project, our mission is to promote a world that is just, equitable, and sustainable for all. We believe that achieving this mission requires collaboration and partnership, which is why we support initiatives that are synergistic with our mission and values.
