Disclaimer
Effective Date: April 20, 2026
1. Scope of This Disclaimer
This Disclaimer applies to all content, materials, analytical outputs, intelligence products, research publications, and services provided through the Embassy Row Project ("the Organization"), a philanthropic initiative founded by James Scott and headquartered in Washington, D.C. This Disclaimer governs your use of embassyrowproject.org, embassyrowproject.com, embassyrowproject.net, embassyrowproject.ai, and all affiliated institute websites and platforms (collectively, "the Services").
By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Disclaimer. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Services immediately.
2. No Professional Advice
The content provided through the Services is for general informational and decision-support purposes only. Nothing on this website or within any analytical output, intelligence product, research publication, or platform deliverable constitutes:
- •Legal advice or legal representation
- •Financial, investment, or tax advice
- •Medical, psychological, or healthcare guidance
- •Military, defense, or national security directives
- •Engineering, architectural, or technical certification
- •A substitute for consultation with qualified professionals in any discipline
You are solely responsible for evaluating the suitability of any information obtained through the Services for your specific circumstances. The Organization strongly recommends that you seek independent professional counsel before making decisions based on any content provided through the Services.
3. Content Accuracy and Completeness
The Organization implements rigorous research methodologies and quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of its content. However, the Organization does not warrant, represent, or guarantee that:
- •Any content is complete, accurate, current, or free from errors at all times
- •Analytical outputs or intelligence products reflect real-time conditions or account for all relevant variables
- •Research findings are applicable to all jurisdictions, sectors, or operational contexts
- •Historical data, case studies, or statistical references remain current following publication
- •Forecasts, projections, or scenario analyses will correspond to actual future outcomes
All content is provided on an informational basis and must not be relied upon as the sole basis for critical decisions without independent verification from qualified sources.
4. Analytical Outputs and Intelligence Products
The Embassy Row Project operates specialized analytical platforms — including the Crisis Intelligence & Forensics Platform, Expert Agents Platform, and Diplomatic Initiative Design Platform — that produce intelligence products, risk assessments, compliance analyses, and strategic recommendations. These outputs:
- •Are generated using proprietary methodologies and publicly available data sources, and are subject to the inherent limitations of those sources
- •Represent the Organization's analytical assessment at the time of production and do not constitute statements of fact
- •Are intended to supplement — not replace — the recipient's own judgment, expertise, and decision-making processes
- •May incorporate AI-assisted analysis, machine learning models, and automated processing, all of which carry inherent uncertainty
- •Shall not be construed as endorsements, certifications, or guarantees of any outcome, entity, or course of action
5. Scholarship and Grant Decisions
The Organization operates grant-funded programs that provide services at no cost to qualifying organizations. All decisions regarding grant eligibility, scholarship awards, service allocation, and program participation are made at the sole and absolute discretion of the Organization. The Organization:
- •Does not guarantee approval of any application, regardless of the applicant's qualifications or prior engagement
- •Reserves the right to modify eligibility criteria, funding levels, and program availability at any time without prior notice
- •Is not obligated to provide reasons for denial of any application or termination of any grant relationship
- •Makes no representations regarding the timeline for application review, approval, or service delivery
6. Third-Party Links and External Content
The Services contain links to external websites operated by affiliated institutes, partner organizations, government agencies, and other third parties. The Organization:
- •Does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or security measures of any third-party website
- •Does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any information on linked websites
- •Is not liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from your interaction with third-party websites or services
- •Provides external links solely for convenience and informational purposes; inclusion of a link does not constitute an endorsement
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES, INCLUDING ALL CONTENT, ANALYTICAL OUTPUTS, INTELLIGENCE PRODUCTS, AND PLATFORM FUNCTIONALITY, ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE ORGANIZATION DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND COMPLETENESS. THE ORGANIZATION DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR FREE FROM ERRORS, VIRUSES, OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE EMBASSY ROW PROJECT, JAMES SCOTT, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, AND SUCCESSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH:
- •Your access to, use of, or inability to use the Services
- •Any reliance on content, analytical outputs, or intelligence products provided through the Services
- •Decisions made or actions taken based on information obtained through the Services
- •Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data or transmissions
- •Any third-party content, products, or services accessed through the Services
Because all services are provided at no cost through grant funding, the total aggregate liability of the Organization for any claims arising under this Disclaimer shall not exceed one hundred United States dollars (USD $100.00). This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory upon which the claim is based, including contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Embassy Row Project, James Scott, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and court costs) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Services, your reliance on any content or analytical output, your violation of this Disclaimer or any applicable law, or your infringement of any intellectual property or other right of any third party.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Disclaimer shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the District of Columbia, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Disclaimer shall first be submitted to good-faith mediation. If mediation is unsuccessful within thirty (30) days, the dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered in Washington, D.C. in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Each party shall bear its own costs unless the arbitrator determines otherwise. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.
11. Modifications
The Organization reserves the right to modify this Disclaimer at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Services following any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Disclaimer. The Organization encourages you to review this page periodically.
